Accredited Rehabilitation Consultants, Inc. (ARC) was founded in 1976 and incorporated in California in 1981. For more than four decades, ARC has provided workplace injury prevention, ergonomic consulting, rehabilitation, return-to-work, and workplace accommodation services throughout California.
Over the years, ARC expanded its services to include office and industrial ergonomic evaluations, ergonomic job analyses, physical demand analyses, workplace accommodations, ergonomic equipment recommendations, training, and implementation support.
Decades of Public Agency Experience
ARC has extensive experience serving public agencies throughout Southern California, including numerous Los Angeles County departments. Our experience includes the Department of Health Services, Correctional Health Services, Department of Mental Health, Department of Public Health, Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department, and Superior Court. ARC has also worked with cities, housing authorities, colleges, school districts, and other public-sector organizations throughout Southern California.
A Comprehensive Approach
ARC’s approach extends beyond identifying ergonomic concerns. We evaluate the interaction between the individual, their job duties, equipment, workstation, and physical work environment to develop practical recommendations that can be implemented in the workplace. For post-injury and workers’ compensation evaluations, recommendations are developed in relation to the employee’s diagnosis, functional needs, job demands, and affected body parts, including the neck, back, shoulders, arms, elbows, wrists, and hands. ARC also coordinates with employers, supervisors, claims administrators, physicians, and employees to provide responsive scheduling, comprehensive reporting, ergonomic equipment implementation, workplace accommodations, and follow-up services.
ARC Today
Today, under the leadership of Ryan Fogel, B.A., CEES, ARC continues to provide ergonomic and workplace injury prevention services while expanding its expertise in workplace accommodation, assistive technology, Dragon voice recognition, and home modification. Nearly 50 years after its founding, ARC remains committed to helping individuals interact more safely and effectively with the environments in which they work and live.
