ARC’s experience extends beyond traditional office ergonomics. We have evaluated employees and job activities in healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, maintenance, field-based, educational, and public safety environments.
Our evaluations may address repetitive motion, material handling, lifting and carrying, pushing and pulling, awkward postures, workstation design, equipment use, and other physical demands. For post-injury evaluations, these factors are considered in relation to the employee’s diagnosis and affected body parts, including the neck, back, shoulders, arms, elbows, wrists, and hands.
County of Los Angeles
ARC has extensive experience providing ergonomic services to Los Angeles County employees. Our work has included the Department of Health Services, Correctional Health Services, Department of Mental Health, Department of Public Health, Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department, and Superior Court. Services have included ergonomic evaluations, ergonomic job analyses, workplace injury prevention, return-to-work support, workplace accommodations, and ergonomic equipment implementation.
