USC Executive Certificate in Home Modification
Ryan Fogel, B.A., CEES, President of ARC, holds an Executive Certificate in Home Modification from the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. His background in ergonomics, workplace accommodation, assistive technology, and functional assessment allows ARC to evaluate the relationship between the individual, the diagnosed condition, the affected body parts, and the physical demands of the home environment.
Following the assessment, ARC provides written recommendations documenting the identified barriers and proposed modifications. When requested, ARC can also assist with equipment selection, planning, and communication of the recommendations to the appropriate parties.
ARC provides assessment and consultation services. Any construction or structural modification should be completed by appropriately qualified contractors. ARC can assist with implementation coordination when requested to help ensure that the completed modifications are consistent with the assessment recommendation.
